BIM Passport
BIM Passport is a digital representation of an existing building, that documents its “as-is” state and has a variety of use cases, including maintenance, property management, renovation, space and tenant management, expansion planning etc.
The data can be transferred from the initial design model and enriched with the on-site information like survey drawings and 3D point clouds. For existing buildings and structures we offer full digitization services including highly precise laser scanning and accurate model creation including the building structure and mechanical equipment. Any future changes including equipment replacement, new room layouts and reconstruction results, can be documented in the model to ensure an accurate representation of the actual building state. BIM Passport can be transformed into a Digital Twin model by incorporating the live sensory data. |

Digital Twin (Connected BIM)
A Digital Twin is a virtual representation of a building or a structure, including its systems and equipment. It is created by capturing real-world data and information through various technologies such as sensors, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and simulations. The digital twin provides a dynamic and interactive model that mirrors the behavior and characteristics of its physical counterpart in real time. It enables continuous monitoring, analysis, and optimization of the building’s performance, ensuring that it meets the requirements of both the owner and the tenant/user at the lowest possible cost. BPS Planung creates Digital Twin models utilizing a variety of methods, including 3D-Scanning, elevating the existing conventional measurment plans or even digitalisation of archival drawings.
